Reproduction Welded Chinstrap Loops – M2 D-Bails (Premium Version)

Our premium reproduction welded chinstrap loops for M2 paratrooper helmets, commonly known as D-bails, are designed for superior accuracy. These are very close to the originals with one key improvement—reinforced wire folds at the foot of the bail, making them significantly stronger than WWII-issued versions.

While we do not recommend restoring an original D-bail helmet, these are an excellent choice for reenacting, film work, or display. They allow builders to create an accurate reproduction M2 airborne helmet, as original examples are extremely rare and costly.

Ideal for assembling an M2 helmet for reenacting, repairing a damaged reproduction, or using in a new build. Spot welding is required for proper attachment.
