The downlight's water-resistant feature ensures that jets and splashes of water won't cause malfunction or short-circuit, providing you with a secure lighting solution.
Installing this LED downlight is hassle-free if you gather all the necessary materials, tools, and equipment ahead of time and read through the product manual and installation guide. It has a screwless push-fit and loop-in/out wiring terminals, allowing you to connect your lights in series. It is also mains-powered, so you don't need to purchase an individual driver or transformer.
The downlight works with a GU10 bulb in cool white, natural white, and warm white colour temperatures. Cool white and natural white are ideal for task lighting, while warm white light suits ambient lighting.
This LED downlight is insulation-coverable, allowing you to put loft insulation loosely over its rear. However, you can only do so if you pair it with a GU10 lamp with a maximum power of 7w.
This downlight is fire-rated to 90 minutes of protection and suitable for solid and I-joist ceilings. Fire-rated downlights like this have a built-in intumescent pad that expands when exposed to a specific temperature, blocking tiny cracks surrounding the fixture and preventing the fire from slipping through.
